Meg and Hamish got married at the gorgeous Criffel Station Woolshed, Wanaka, in March.
After spending time with both the guys and the girls as the got ready, we met together for Meg & Hamish to have a ‘first look’ followed by bridal party photos.
The outdoor ceremony took place in front of a stunning flower arch overlooking Wanaka. It was a beautiful sunny day. The ceremony included a ring blessing from Meg and Hamish’s two gorgeous children Olivia and Maxwell, and finished with the guests all toasting the couple with champagne. Meg’s brother played music before the ceremony and during the signing of the register. It was a moving ceremony, full of so much love and private smiles.
After the ceremony and group photos, we went to do some clay pigeon shooting, which was so much fun. Meg hit the clay pigeon on her first ever shot, which was awesome! I managed to sneak in a few more beautiful portraits of the couple, too. The rest of the afternoon was spent mingling with guests, which was the perfect time for me to get candid photos. It was a fun afternoon, all helped by lawn games and The Foxy Photobooth.
Following the bridal party’s entry to the reception, Meg & Hamish cut their fabulous cake and enjoyed the joviality of the numerous speeches.
I loved this rustic wedding so much. If you’re getting married and looking for a relaxed wedding photographer, get in touch!
